Paxton Media Group’s Central Indiana News Group Executive Editor, Jared Keever, announced recently that he has named Tracy McCormick-Dishman as managing editor of the Peru Tribune.
“I couldn’t be happier to have Tracy taking over as the Tribune’s managing editor. Having spent nearly three years in that position myself, Peru had become a sort of second home to me,” Keever said. “Because of that, it was important to me that we find a candidate who could embrace Peru and Miami County’s strong sense of community spirit and the paper’s role within it. I think we’ve done just that and I look forward to seeing where Tracy takes the Tribune in the coming years.”
Dishman bring 20 years of experience and a strong portfolio of marketing and communication successes to her new role
“In my short time at the Peru Tribune, I have met so many wonderful people who work every day to make Miami County a better place to live,” said Dishman. “Through my reporting, I hope to reflect that spirit and tell stories that matter.”
“It is my hope to build on the work of editors past and bring readers new ways to enjoy our content. I am honored and humbled to lead a newspaper as reputable as the Peru Tribune,” said Dishman.
