WorkOne Career Connect Magazine: 2008-2013

Tracy Dishman is the former Director of Marketing for Alliance for Strategic Growth and WorkOne Eastern Indiana. Under her leadership, the WorkOne Region 6 marketing department went from non-existent to becoming a formidable entity in the State of Indiana.

Throughout her tenure, Dishman and the WorkOne team created a variety of brands and marketing strategies for Economic Growth Region 6 in Indiana. Marketing plans were created for special grant projects for Adult, Dislocated & Youth workers, as well as, the Businesses that needed WorkOne employment services.

A state-wide adopted “WorkOne Career Connect” magazine, along with, a fully integrated website template were initiatives that caught the attention of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

The WorkOne Career Connect Magazine was a partnership between Alliance For Strategic Growth and Gannett Newspapers. Published entirely in-house under the direction of the editor,Tracy Dishman, 25,000 magazines were delivered throughout East Central Indiana every month.

A true Economic Growth Region 6 partnership, the monthly WorkOne Career Connect magazine provided information, useful tools and other resources to help Hoosier Job Seekers, Employers, Youth and Entrepreneurs succeed and advance in today’s workforce.
